Bringing your academic or industry conference to Baltimore?
Want a tour of the city tailored to your audience, your family, or for your students?
Please let us know a few things first: 1) the tour date(s) and time(s) that fit your schedule, 2) the location of the conference or convention (or preferred starting point/neighborhood, otherwise), 3) the approximate number of expected participants (up to 25), and 4) any additional considerations. Sending this information via email to info@fullstorybaltimore.tours is preferred.
To schedule an existing tour of ours (currently running OR retired) as a private tour, expect to pay the price of a full regular public tour ($300–$400) total. With major modifications (e.g. shortening a tour significantly), the cost will start at $500. Payment options include paper check, direct deposit, Zelle or PayPal, and (coming soon) credit card via FareHarbor.
What does that price include? ·A professional tour guide ·A private webpage with specific tour information just for you and your tour guests ·The ability to schedule a walking tour that fits your schedule perfectly ·Some flexibility on timing and route ·Directions to (and from) the tour starting place, plus specific transit and/or parking advice
Best Full Story tour for visitors to Baltimore? “Revolution in Baltimore Town” or “Frederick Douglass’ Fell’s Point.” Best for locals who like messy history? Either of the “Baltimore’s Confederate Shadows” tours. Best for church groups? “Black Reconstruction in Lower Charles Village” or “Frederick Douglass’ Fell’s Point.” Best for Ken Burns fans & Revolutionary War 250th anniversary commemorators? “Revolution in Baltimore Town” or the new American Revolution tour coming in spring 2026… Best for family groups? It depends on the family! Let us know what your group’s interests and requirements are.
If your request will involve substantial additional research or writing, it would be a tour commission, which we may be able to do (and would have a significantly higher cost). Send an email to info@fullstorybaltimore.tours to discuss. Note: Full Story Baltimore will not do any tours that involve alcohol, and we do not typically do tours involving food.
Just want to bring a group of people on a public tour? You are more than welcome to do that! If you’re bringing a group of 5 or more, feel free to ask about scheduling an additional public tour time that fits with your group’s schedule.
Our expert tour guide (Dr. Emma Katherine Bilski) is also available to give educational talks/guest lectures on a variety of topics related to the Full Story Baltimore tour repertoire or listed here. Please email ek@fullstorybaltimore.tours to discuss specifics.
